Sascia’s expertise is in media theory, phenomenology, and artistic practices, with a strong background in music composition and dance choreography: he has conducted courses in Academies and Universities in Scotland, Hong Kong, China, and Singapore. Sascia’s contributions have appeared in symposiums, conferences, magazines and journals from the US, the UK, France, Lithuania, Slovenia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. Sascia’s background as a performer is in classical percussion and piano. He has performed in Italy, France, Germany, China, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, and Hong Kong, where he collaborated with major dance companies such as City Contemporary Dance Company, Hong Kong Dance Company, Frontier Danceland Dance Company. His audiovisual installations have been exhibited in Taiwan, Korea, Japan, and Singapore. Sascia is a Composition and Integrated Arts Lecturer at The School of the Arts of Singapore, Board Editor for Film International Journal (UK), Editor for the Open Space Magazine (NY), Reviewer Committee member for IAFOR (The International Academic Forum), reviewer for SAGE (Psychology of Music, UK), and advisor (Ma/PhD) foe TransArt Institute (UK).
